Oerstedella wallisii

    No scent, but a super cute flower. I have it in orchiata bark with some chunky perlite, allowing it to somewhat dry out before I flush it with water.

    Nice flowers! How much light do you give this? I have a couple of them, but they seem to struggle.

    For where this one is placed, the PPFD is around 40, and for LUX; top of plant is around 1804 and the side is 1467. These values are a bit higher for my winter since I turn the lights a bit more higher to get more heat produced from the LEDs along with less light in my room shining through the two grow tent windows. To be frank, the roots for this species do not like to stay wet for a long time but that's just what I have experienced.

    Mine blooms better when grown rather shady. Definitely not a Cattleya light. It also never dries out. 1082D5B3-586B-480D-A5CD-DE3FEC58A9CA.jpeg
