I had wanted one of these for a while and finally purchased this one at POE in February. This is my first blooming and I am very pleased.
From Brazil. I grow it mounted, intermediate, medium bright with some similar sized Bulbophyllums
The flower is about 15 mm across.

I love it! Last time I checked, I didn't have even a hint of a spike.

Great species! and it is fantastic in person as well. Nice clone. Some clones are not as colorful as yours.

Slow grower but eventually it will grow faster. Mine is an older plant...it has 7 spikes, in bloom now also. For Oncidium, it is as good as it gets IMO. Really nice choice, Kelly.

Thanks, Tom. Yes, I have seen some that are not very colorful so I was very happy when this one bloomed out as nice as it did. Andy only had a few of these left and most had seed capsules on them . I'm really glad he let this one go. I preordered it for the POE.
Many people, including myself, shy away from Oncidiums but there are a few real gems in the genus. You can't "throw the baby out with the bath water". :)

Thanks, Bob. Congrats on the 5 spikes, that's great. Does yours have similar markings as mine?

Kelly, what does POE stand for? I would love to buy one. Does anyone know of any sources for this?
