Oncidium hastilabium

    Found in Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador and Peru the flowers are quite distinctive, there seems to be two visible appendages or side lobes at the base of the column. The scape is three feet long with ten or more three and a half inch flowers - a lovely thing. Oncidium hastilabium2.JPG

    They are beautiful. I can't help but wonder what would come of a cross between a brassia and Rhynchostele uro-skinneri?
