I'm selling these things, so I had to get images for potential buyers. They're pretty rare, so they're pretty expensive. To give you an idea, I'm still paying off the credit card bill I incurred while purchasing these things over 6 months ago. :) I cried when one of them died in July.

They are amazing! I wish I had a suitable environment to house them.

Seriously, what's an "expensive" frog? You don't have to say what you're getting for this guy, but what do the rare ones go for? Just curious how lucrative the frog trade is.
    :)

The less expensive, more common, easily bred frogs go for $30-40 each. These aren't that, and they aren't the most rare and expensive ones. Those can go for $1,200+ per frog. No guarantee they'll live, and no guarantee you'll get a breeding pair. I absolutely did NOT spend that much for these things, though I wish I could sell them for that. :)

    $1,200 for a f&%$ing frog?!?!?! (I realize f&%$ing frog isn't a recognized breed)
Would you give me $0.50 for a cuban tree frog? If so, I'll have about 100 of 'em to you in the mail by Friday.

Dewey, why not? People pay that much for plants, snakes, corals, many other things.

Agreed, but $1200 doesn't come easy to me so imagining getting a frog for that much money seems like crazy talk.

I'm assuming alive is part of that guarantee

Will that thing eat greenhouse slugs? If so you may have another potential buyer.

Leave the tree frogs where they are, Dewey! Send away those nasty bufo toads, instead. I'll donate some of mine.

You know most Bufo species are native right?
