Orchid Neophyte

Good day!

I bought a couple orchids recently for a still life photo shoot I was composing and decided I could do worse than have quite a few more orchids scattered about the property. I'm in the process of building a cool weather greenhouse for propagation and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way!

I live in the NW California coastal region and it surprised me that there are so many different species that are happy in a non-tropical environment and I'm looking forward to learning more about these beautiful plants!

Excellent, I know the local club has a meeting coming up soon as well as its annual show so I hope to meet some of the local growers soon!
