    IMG_7604.jpeg IMG_7605.jpeg Here is a species that is going to bloom for the first time under my care. I know what it is and I’ll ask moderators to change the title after I post a blooming picture.
    For now, I’m posting a picture of a plant and of a spike. Can somebody guess what it is? First person guessing it right can claim a seedling of another species from the same section (it’ll be free but you’ll have to pay for shipping). One guess per person per day, to make it fair. Let’s play!

    Not Gongora galeata.

    Spiro, I'm not saying this is Polycysnis or not but if you replace sp. with a species name, I would say if you are right or not ;-)

    The red undersides of the leaves make me think it must be Kegeliella houtteana! K. atropilosa is similar but is not described as having reddish leaves.

    Looks like we have a winner! I purchased it as K. atropilosa but it can be K. houtteana.
    If you want an established seedling of Neomoorea irrorata, please send me a private message. :)

    I do hope you post pictures when it blooms! Kegeliella species are so uncommon yet so cool.
