Since my indoor grow area is beginning to fill up, I'm shopping around for a small greenhouse. I came across a 6' X 8' unit from Palram with an aluminum frame and polycarbonate panels for what seems to be a fair price. Has anyone had any experience with these or something like them?

I've not had experience with greenhouse kits. But from experience, I do know that 6 x 8' is very small. Besides the fact that they fill up really fast, a small greenhouse is very hard to control the temperature. They heat up fast and cool off very fast because the volume is small compared to the surface area. That doesnt make for great growing conditions.

I ended up opting for the 8' X 8' X 9'. Still small, but almost double the volume. I'm expecting to be tinkering with evaporative cooling, fans, roof vents, and shade cloth, so if managing it becomes a lifestyle, that's fine. Besides, "very hard" doesn't mean much to us engineering types :)
