I noticed this line on my Phal leaf and it has migrated a little and now it is in the main rib of the leaf. I do not see any insects though?!?! Should I cut this portion of the leaf off?

I see no reason to cut anything. It's still a healthy leaf contributing to the health and vigor of the plant.

Thanks for the replay Roberta! This is what the leaf looks like after a week.

It looks to me like whatever caused the problem, the "injury" is drying up. There is still plenty of good leaf to photosynthesize. I would not cut a leaf unless there were a fungal or bacterial issue that was making the leaf soft and spongy. What looks a bit dark, I'd guess is just the lighting. If the non-injured part of the leaf is truly darkening, then there might be a further issue.
