Phal obsessed

Hi there, I'm fairly new to orchid growing, but phalaenopsis are my favourites.
I am, historically, a serial killer of houseplants. However, after marrying five years ago, my husband bought me a moth orchid for our first anniversary, and I vowed I would research and learn to keep it alive. The results were brilliant, and the plant bloomed for months and months. Feeling encouraged, my husband repeated the gesture the next year, and it's become a tradition. I now have six and they're doing great.

It's lovely that i can have beautiful healthy plants indoors that won't aggravate hay fever. I'm learning more so the time, and have become very confident in trimming roots and growing new spikes. I hope to learn more as a member of this group.

When I'm not watching videos about orchids or fussing over my orchids, I'm a music teacher at primary school, which is my dream job, and makes me very happy.
