Pleurothallis gargantua has been overall a reluctant bloomer for me, and it's been a few years since the last time. Blooming now on one growth, with a second bud on the next growth to open in a few weeks. Leaves are 10" long, flowers about 1.5" across. Grown cooler in lower light and high humidity in a clay pot, kept moiast in a fine bark mix. Plant is a little beaten up as it is in the way of several things and often gets knocked over, kicked, or dropped on. It seems to be happier now in front of the mister and cooler breeze. gargantuaplant10inlvs0323.jpeg gargantuaruler0323.jpeg

Where did you get yours from? I ordered one from Ecuagenera a few months ago and it took off like crazy. I didn't want to mess with the roots more so I just put mine is a net pot. Now, it has tons of aerial roots all over the place along with new leaves. It's interesting because mine grows in the same light that my Dracula's grow in which is pretty low and does wonderful.

No clue where I go it, it's been so long I don't remember, and it has a replacement tag so that has no info on it either, sorry.
