Another IC grower. A bit disappointed as I thought it was the red flowered type I was getting, as thats the one thats shown on the Ecuagenera website.

If we called it the xanthic form, would you feel better?

Does Ecuagenera do shows in Sweden? or do you go to other countries?

Ecuagenera does not come to Sweden. But one of the German growers is in deep contact with them. (Since theire kids are involved with one another). And he always bring plants from Ecuagenera with them on orchid shows to Sweden. And 2008 the orchid society in Stockholm made an import from them.

Also, when I did the Dresden show for Ecuagenera a few years ago, a whole bus load of swedes came to the show. There were buses from other countries too. Dresden is a pretty big show.

Linda, how big is the Stockholm Orchid Society? Judging from what I see on the forum, you have some very knowledgeable growers in Sweden.

Ha ha ;) I might just have to get another one some time so i can get the red one too.

Groups of us import from them too, they send on plants fron shows elsewhere in Europe. Then CITES, etc is all taken care of. The downside of that is not getting to see the individual plants condition first...
