Anyone know a source for these in the US? I don't have any luck getting this one imported, they always fuss and die on me or arrive completely rotted or rotting.

Hi Gabriel... I have had the same problem... I have purchased 4 from Ecuagenera at 2 different times, they were large divisions and 3 out of the 4 basically lost all there leaves within a week of arrival and opening... They were very good at replacing the ones that did not make it... One has hopefully made it but it still lost 3/4 of the leaves and growing for the last 6 months... I ordered another on for the February SF POE Show... i hope it arrives in good shape! Good luck with your hunt... Dexter

    I love this one.
It is a bit sensitive plant that does not like totally drying out or extreme temperature swing.
I also tried to import via Ecuagenera, but it never succeeded so, got the current one, a division from my friend.
It's not too uncommon so, find someone local who already has it is another good way to get it.

You might try Dan Newman of Hanging Gardens in San Francisco.

Dex, let me know how that turn out. I'm nervous about ordering another imported plant of this species. It really does seem to hate the trek here. I've ordered it 3 times and none lasted longer than a week or two. They seem decline quickly.

Thanks Marni, will send him an email!
