Potinara Memoria Irene Feil 'Ruby Red' AM/AOS. Purchased from Howard Ginsberg, Bedford Orchids last spring. True colour is a deep saturated crimson red. White dots are the sparkly texture of the flower.

I am Steven Feil (pronounced FILE) that registered this grex. It is named after my mother. I had the plant and it bloomed on the same day that she died in 2007. The originator was in the process of naming it but pulled his registration so I could register it. The plant I had died after I tried a to mount it to a piece of wood we got from my wife's grandfather's estate. I tried to replace it but was not able to and have since stopped growing orchids. It has been exciting to revisit this part of my life.
