Pray this week for my girl pupperdogs please!!!

A short time ago, Ms Sasserfrassers/aka Sassy, like ate a hole in her side. I swear to God, a big 3" diameter piece of skin was missing on her side when I came home one day and she was chewing the crap outa it. Me I'm thinking, OK you are a bit screwy when you get upset, I understand why all this crap is making you upset but WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! So anyway, FINALLY, today I was able to get an appointment to take her in and she has a nasty cancer. Here I thought it was just a bite. Boy, I was kinda floored I tell ya. Snif. She was trying to eat it out, I guess. I feel so friggin mean now. Snif. I left her there for surgery in the morning. Hopefully, the X-rays will not show it has spread to her lungs already. Anyway, please send good vibes that her surgery and X-rays go well. They are also testing/cutting off three other things I'm now worried as crap about.

I also took Mallikie in cause his ears haven't been staying pristine clean, w/my normal routine, since the hurricane. I figured ear mites or some kinda wierd arse thingie that acts up with these storms but treatment for ear mites hasn't done a blasted thing. He has a antibiotic-resistent staff + other bacterial AND a fungal infection in his ears. I'm sure he got the latter from my chids. LOL.

Well hell, why not go for broke. I mean this is sorta a new vet and he seems REALLY good. I was only supposed to take Sassy in today but I sorta brought Mallikie with me. Sooooo, for the appointment I had for Mallikie tomorrow, I'm taking Congo and Dryfus. The rationale for this is that Congo is Sassy's sister and perchance we will get a better handle on things as well as be able to help Congo, although I think its sorta late for that with all the bad diagnoses that she has had so far. Anyway, needle biopsies for Congo and a lung X-ray and routine, I hope, stuff on Dryfus. Congo will probably, I dunno, I'm kinda freaked right now, for surgery on W and hopefully Dryfus and Sassy will come home.

The only good news was that Mallikies annual heart worm test was negative. Wooooohooooooo

This ain't turning out to be a very good holiday season. First my bro dies and my 87 and 86 year old parents are like weirded out as shit about it and I feel so helpless that I can't help, now the girl pupperdogs are in trouble, my pony was a real bitch today when I tried to do some stress-relief and ride her (course I haven't ridden her in ages cause of all this crap, lol), and my mum thinks my poor old dad is going. It sucks.

AS to the type, it looked like multiple types but we need the rest of the biopsies. Poor Sasserfrasser.

 

Yeah, well this hasn't been the best year. LOL. Sasser had a good night and is in surgery now. The other pupperdogs are like, "I ain't going in THAT dog/quest bathroom. Sasserfrasser went in there and didn't come back." Thanks for the well wishes.

 

Well, she is very sore and very tired and hell on T-shirt neck lines but I think she is more comfy in a T-shirt than a big old plastic neck thingie as she can't even drink water with that on and has been thirsty as all get out. The cut a huge piece outa her where the part was that she ate off. Then there are 4 other ones they took off. Snif. I wouldn't know more until I get the pathology reports back from the vet school down the street.

Thanks for asking. Here is a scary thought. LOL. I'm looking at this 'new' good vet I found that 'did' Congo's emergency eye and I'm thinking, 'I finally find a good vet and he looks older than dirt'. <Shame on me> Then I look at his diploma thingie on the wall and I see that he graduated 4 years after I started as a professor at that same vet school. LOL.
