Last February (2018), I bought this plant at an orchid show. Within a month it was showing 2 new growths (actually, 3, but the 3rd one dried up) that at first I thought were flower spikes but which turned out to be new bulbs. I just noticed 2 new growths, photos attached, and am hoping these are flower spikes, although 2 at once seems unlikely? These growths seem skinnier than last year's, and I think would suggest flower spikes, but that could be wishful thinking. What do you experts think? Thanks! psychopsis 2 (2).JPG psychopsis (2).JPG

They look like spikes to me. Enjoy!

So here is my Psychopsis right now. The flower spikes are 2 ft. tall. I know they typically grow to that length, but when do you think I might see a flower bud? They seem to grow an inch every day! Psychopsis Mendenhall (2).JPG I know I'm lucky to have 2 spikes. These are silly looking, no?

They will continue to grow, before and after flowering, and will rebloom on each spike over and over.
