How long does it take for an orchid to re-bloom?

There are many factors that affect reblooming, and it can vary from plant to plant.

Assuming your culture is good and the plant has plenty of reserves, most phalaenopsis hybrids use temperature as the trigger. While they grow best at very high temperatures (and fortunately are tolerant of those that we prefer), they typically require about 10 days to two weeks of an average temperature that is 10-15F lower in order to initiate a spike and bloom.
