Rhipidoglossum pulchellum

This species flowers once a year and all individuals more or less at the same time, though the timing might differ depending on the location. All flowers on one plant open within a week and last for about 3 weeks, if you are lucky that is. Last year the flowers of this specimen were all eaten in one serving by a rodent, that explains the delay in posting. This time so far so good and has 14 spikes, the most populous one 16 flowers. They supposed to be fragrant, here maybe just slightly, while e.g. R. subsimplex clearly is, but that one is much more difficult to contain.
