I have this sad looking orchid, but I'm not sure what it is. I'm going to try to revive it, but would like help ID'ing it. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Maxillaria tenuifolia?

    Just a guess, mind you.

That would be my guess too. I don't grow it, but others here do and should be able to offer advice. I would think that there is too much bark for the size of the plant.

Maxillaria tenuifolia. Humidity, bright light, copious water, allowed to dry between waterings, medium that drains quickly, I-IW temps.

Thanks everyone. I'm finding lots of online info on the Max. That's definitely the plant. I can comply to most of the requirements. High humidity is a problem here in the Inland NW, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks again!

I find that this species is pretty forgiving. I grow mine outside with the Laelias. At frist it was just because I didnt want to let it have a space in the GH, but then it started blooming. so now that is where it lives.
