I'm pretty sure Lynne used it once and was pleased with the results. IIRC, though, it wasn't effective more than a few times.

From what DH tells me, it's a neonicotinoid like Merit is. The uptake is faster than Merit, but the systemic action doesn't last as long as in Merit.

It was recommended for scale, and was being touted as more effective than Merit.
I has some creeping scale, thus the questions.
    It's VERY expensive.

(Note to self, ask Candace for Dale's credit card number!)

i've used it and it is good when used as a drench. i do not believe it gives as good of control when used as a foliar spray. it has a crazy high ppm and is a next generation neonicotiniod (sp?). i think tristar may be a better foliar neonicotin. tristar also costs less than half what safari costs, i think....

Excellent works very well on listed pests.
It is expensive but a little bit goes a long way.
I've used it for mealies and scale, very effective.

someone asked the ratio of Enstar aq for smaller amts. I contacted the company and they recommend 4.8 (ml) to 1 gal. for protection and 9.6(ml) for treatment with a repeat in 2 weeks.can be mix with a systemic such as Mavrik or Beyer
