hi, don't know if it's just me, but there quite a few threads out there that I can't see the images. Never had that problem before. It's random, but I couldn't see Kelly's Maxillaria post to mention one.

    Any help appreciated

Chuck, have you tried the system reboot? Sometimes that works. If it still isn't working after that I'll get Brent on it.

    What platform are you using?

Hi Kelly, using an iPad. I'm not seeing pictures on any of the posts now. Tried rebooting twice...similar issues on iPhone.

Hi Kelly, Don't seem to have issues with any other application and this seems somewhat random. Seem to be able to see photos that Naoki or Mikhail post, but not yours or virtually anyone else's.

You might try deleting your search history, cookies, and website data to get a fresh start when logging in. Works for me if I have issues.

Thanks Chris, I've tried that method twice. It's probably some setting under preferences, but just can't figure it out. I was traveling last week when it happened and both my iPhone and iPad are affected ☹️

Chuck, I can confirm the problem with Safari on iPad. I think the avitar photos are also gone, right? This appears to be the server-side problem. I checked another XenForo served forum, and there wasn't a problem. Photos of Mikhail and mine are served from Flickr, so you can see them, but the photos uploaded to this forum aren't visible. The way to fix it is to make safari to get the "Desktop" site. I'm guessing that OrchidsForum server provides phone/tablet version and desktop version of each page. I don't know about this forum software, but I'm guessing the phone/tablet side isn't configured to serve images? Here is a way to get the photo back, but I think it would be probably better if Brent can fix the tablet/phone side of the page.

How to make your safari to grab the desktop page:
Take a look at the very top of Safari. There is a place where you can type in the URL. Then right side of the URL area, you see square with up arrow. When you click it, you get 3 rows: Top row is AirDrop, the second row is "Mail, Reminders, ...etc". In the third row, you see "Add to Favorites, Add Bookmark, ... etc". When you scroll the third row, the last button is "More". Just left side of "More" button, you see a button of "Request Desktop Site". When you click it you'll get the photos back.

Wow! Thanks Naoki! I will try that. Yes, just noticed no avatar photos either and I was able to get all content when I briefly logged in from a desktop yesterday.

Naoki, your fix did work on the iPad. So I am using the desktop version of the forum now. It actually doesn't look or feel much different from the tablet version, which is good.

Naoki, thanks for the great assist.

P.S. I have deleted a few posts to this thread so that future users can find the solution easier. Chuck, I also changed the thread title. Hope that is OK with you. Also, made this thread "sticky" so it stays at the top of the post listings. Thanks everyone.
