I have had this for 2-3 years and this is the first blooming. Lots of spikes on it. I was hoping for a little more color but I still like it.
I am growing it bright, right next to my Bulbophyllum lobbii, moist and intermediate temps. Schoenorchis juncifolia2-1000.jpg

I was also a bit disappointed when my S. juncifolia bloomed the first time..., but it still nice to have (I think). My favorite Schoenorchis species is S. gemmata--small flowers but showy, great color combo.

Just an update to the above post ...
This plant is always in bloom. There are dozens (maybe hundreds) more spikes forming right now. Although I was (still am) disappointed with the pale color I certainly can't complain about the plant growth or the floriferousness. Love it.
Grown bright, daily summer water, intermediate to warm temps.

Wow, nice! How big was it when you got it? I received one recently, but it is a nursing case.

Leo, thank you and welcome to Orchids Forum. It was small, maybe 15-20 leaves but that was sometime in 2010.
