Holy water Please! You are forgiven, my son!
Chad, I was just pulling your legs. If you have more than you want to keep, I take one. If you don't, don't worry a thing.

No worries Tom. It was one that I got in a trade and after it blooms I will know what I want to do with it. If it goes anywhere it will be to you. ;)

I can now confirm that my mystery Schoenorchis is a fragrans. It's a pleasant coincidence that the Schoenorchis I thought was a fragrans turned out to be seidenfadenii but I ended up with one after all! ImageUploadedByOrchidsForum.com1404106891.892854.jpg

Tom- my manupurensis(?) is in bloom but it may be too tiny to capture with my crap camera. I will give it another shot this week.

Pontupo, that's a nice flowering, too. My last 2 spikes have blasted.

Thank you! I may, however, only be able to take partial credit for this. When I bought it I think it may have been in early spike, I just took it the distance

I'm a little mystified about the name... It's not particularly fragrant that I can tell, though it's small enough that perhaps the scent is comparatively light. The Baker culture sheet and orchidspecies.com make no mention of a scent. Any ideas?

I do not have access it but there is detailed info on the Genus in the AOS bulletin Vol. 47 #10, Oct. 1978. It also includes a key.

Hmm, interesting. It's available for sale online, but I don't want to spend $40 on it. I'll check out the local libraries and the SF orchid society's library and see if I can find it somewheres. Thanks for the tip!
