Great, fragrant, warm growing species. I don’t know if it is generally slow growing, or if a too-cool winter made it leaf-shy, but the flower has lasted almost a month. It is fragrant in the morning and evening (the crepuscular hours) . I’ve included some terrible, gratuitous close ups of different hair details, just for kicks. I am not a photographer, so forgive me.

Flower is about 2 1/2” and the terete, pendant leaves are 18”. The roots are very roughly textured, and rust colored.

Those photos are pretty darn good for not being a photographer ;)

Well, thanks, Rico! I won’t be shy about the close ups in the future
