Sedirea japonica

    I recently picked up two seedlings on eBay of Sedirea japonica. One is marked "Korea" form and the other is marked "Japan" form. I've been looking on the internet but I cannot find any information as to the differences between these two forms. Is there any difference, or are they merely being identified as to their original geographic location? And does one variety need different cultural conditions than the other? Thanks in advance for any advice.

    What I found on the Korean Sed.

    Sedirea japonica Gray et Sweet
    Elevation at ca. 100m, Epiphytes, WTF, EPL


    NR: Nature Reseve, EPL: Environment Preservation Law, NM: Natural Monuments

    TF: Temperate Forest, WTF: Warm Temperate Forest

    It looks as though the Korean will grow in slightly warmer forests than the Japanese.

    Jay's site lists a Chinese species that grows warm to hot and a yellow flower.

    You will probably do alright by giving them some intermediate conditions.
