    Hi all,

I bot a container at Lowe's with 3 plants. One was severely injured (pic below). When bot it had 5 leaves, two on the right were seriously damaged the lower one turned brown and the other is the one with the big split. That is question #1 - should I leave this leaf alone as is, or should I trim it in some way?

On the other side are 3 leaves the top one was busted up, so I trimmed it back a bit and used cinnamon to close the wounds. Question #2 - will this plant come back, and how long do you think?

The ultimate question is this plant worth the effort? PXL_20221214_212224023.jpg PXL_20221216_202153171.jpg PXL_20221214_212225848.jpg PXL_20221214_212232972.jpg

It looks to me like the damage is old, so my recommendation is to just leave it alone.

Assuming you give it proper care, it’ll certainly recover, eventually replacing the damaged leaves with new ones. I’d also guess it’ll skip a year on blooming, but again, that’ll depend on the quality of your care.
