Has anyone had issues getting all plants that you ordered from Peruflora? - emailing your order to them, make a payment via PayPal and they send you plants from a show.
I am debating whether I wait rest of plants to be shipped to us one day (I don't know if that ever happens), or just ask for refund. It's getting close to whole five months since we made a payment to Peruflora.

I and my friend have been having difficulty corresponding with them, and difficulty correcting the order list. But, the most challenging part has been getting all plants that we paid for.
For the first time, they have failed to send six plants out of 18 plants we ordered supposed to be sent from San Francisco show.
Then, they promise to send the rest from Redland show but, they still didn't ship most of them to us.
Both of times they send us the plants after show was ended via USPS - we paid for FedEx cost.
We even wonder if they send the plants only if that were not sold at the show since the plants they have not shipped to us were the stuff we really wanted.

Is this common experience to you all?

They were are Redland Orchid Festival this last weekend. They did bring orders to people. They hadn't confirmed that they were bringing them, so some people weren't happy. They had been without power or internet for many weeks after the mudslides, so hadn't been able to communicate. I think they were a bit overwhelmed at that point. As to your earlier problems, you should insist that they settle things to your satisfaction. Generally, my orders with them have gone well, but I am usually picking up at a show.

Mudslides! I feel sorry for them...and also the people who did not get their pre-orders.
I guess I should have asked you to pick up my order with yours that would saved a lot of trouble.
I think order to pick up at the show may not be much of issues but, ask them to ship a pre-order from a show is the issue because, they send the order after show is ended, plants will not be fresh and your plants might be sold to someone else.

Hi, I order from them frequently, both for pick up and sometimes I have them mail to me. I often have things that aren't delivered and I usually get them another time or get credited. Over the years, I haven't seen them as being significantly less reliable than most South American vendors and do find the quality quite good. All in all, I find getting imported plants from SA much easier than two or three decades ago when you had to import yourself and hope things made it alive through USDA. Echoing Marni and the weather / business interruptions they had in Peru, I would continue to communicate with them, but have some patience.

I'm sure Peruflora sorts the pre-orders before they get shipped. Everything I have gotten from them was coded to match the invoice item numbers and with a customer number on each plant. The pre-ordered plants, shipped or picked up, never go out on the table.

Yes Marni...I've seen that as well. Once I think I even saw your order . Also, when they mail out preorders depends on the timing of the show, when they arrive, how easy they get through inspection and who they might have helping them.

Both of your experience with Peruflora sounded pretty reliable.
I guess I was the unlucky one.
Last time and this were my first & second order with them.
I thought I should get refunded while I could. But, I might need to give them third chance....

Marni and Chuck, thank you for your feed back.

Similar to Marni and Chuck, I'm usually satisfied with their communication and plants, too. Sometimes, it requires a couple emails, but it's not too bad at all. They will make it right.

I just got response from them and I will get the missing plants in July.
Apparently, two of them were dead before shipping and other two plants were eliminated in the CITES permit (I don't know exactly what happned).

I guess I have to trust them and be patient with the situation.
As you wrote "They will make things right". It is reassuring that we can trust them.
    Thank you Naoki.
