    My wife bought this at J&L marked as costarricensis, but I think it is picta. Whatever it is it's a great little plant. The spikes keep on sending out flowers from the bracts where the first flowers appeared from.

    I'm rereading what I wrote and I meant to say that it keeps on sending out more flowers from the same bracts, not spikes
