I’ve searched for posts about snow mold and the advice is to repot the plant. This isn’t a good time of year to repot orchids. Is there anything else that I can do or should I just bite the bullet and repot? Thanks

I suppose you could just apply a fungicide, but the mold’s presence suggests the medium is “going south”, so should probably be replaced.

“Time of year” is less important to repotting than is the “stage of growth”, but even if neither is right for the task, you can take measures to protect the plant.

Ideally, a plant should be actively growing new roots when you repot, but if it isn’t doing so, you can put it on a heat mat and/or apply a decent biostimulant like Kelpak to encourage it.

Physan works with snow mold. Before I started using Orchiata, I always soaked new bark in Physan to get rid of the snow mold that before using it.

Give some air circulation to control it. On the other hand, is it only on the top surface or actually within the pot?

Either way, spores are in the air and will keep thriving on moisture. Just don't use H2O2. It will not solve the problem and will damage the roots.
