what better way to grow mini orchids than in with frogs!
on a dendrobium oligophyllum
Hot. I'm going to put a few leucs in a paludarium I just built. I'm waiting for everything to grow in first, though. If I can stand it, I'll wait til late spring.
I LOVE them! I've contemplated putting some in my Orchidarium, but haven't gotten around to seriously researching the idea.
Cool looking frogs!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!! I love me them darts!!!
here froggy froggy , i love the colors , esp the sparkles on the 1st one
hey brant, if they don't live in their environment, they aren't 'poisonous' so if you lick 'em, you ain't gonna get more than the taste of a frog....
yeah i know, they need to eat some nasty little beetle or some other bug that they then absorb the toxins from or something like that.
years ago when i lived in tucson, every monsoon season when the colorado river toads would dig out, my dogs would "play" with them until they were doggy trippin and foaming at the mouth big time, thus i would never ever contemplate licking one ...i might lick other things , but NOT mr. frog or mr. toad
gotta love those imis.... Cant wait to get some nice minis for my vivs it'll be gooooooooood.
beauty and the frog
I never thought I'd be saying this, but those darn frog's are truly beautiful!!! Please keep posting their pics, I never tire of viewing them...carry on...
my newest additions, Ranitomeya vanzolini
I their viv I have Den. loddigesii, Den. lichenastrum, Epidendrum vestigium, Mediocalcar decoratum, Restrepia elegans and Restrepia antennifera. Also an unidentified Bulbo, and unidentified Dedrobiums. Need some bloomage, then we'll have an ID
All seem to be happy, and rooting well. I *THINK* there might even be a spike forming on my lichenastrum
Oh hells yeah. I can't wait to get my vanzos next week. Sweet little effers.
WILD.......that's all I got, just wild, thank you for sharing, keep em coming
