Hot. I'm going to put a few leucs in a paludarium I just built. I'm waiting for everything to grow in first, though. If I can stand it, I'll wait til late spring.

I LOVE them! I've contemplated putting some in my Orchidarium, but haven't gotten around to seriously researching the idea.

hey brant, if they don't live in their environment, they aren't 'poisonous' so if you lick 'em, you ain't gonna get more than the taste of a frog....

yeah i know, they need to eat some nasty little beetle or some other bug that they then absorb the toxins from or something like that.

years ago when i lived in tucson, every monsoon season when the colorado river toads would dig out, my dogs would "play" with them until they were doggy trippin and foaming at the mouth big time, thus i would never ever contemplate licking one :) ...i might lick other things , but NOT mr. frog or mr. toad

    my newest additions, Ranitomeya vanzolini

I their viv I have Den. loddigesii, Den. lichenastrum, Epidendrum vestigium, Mediocalcar decoratum, Restrepia elegans and Restrepia antennifera. Also an unidentified Bulbo, and unidentified Dedrobiums. Need some bloomage, then we'll have an ID
All seem to be happy, and rooting well. I *THINK* there might even be a spike forming on my lichenastrum
