Got these today at an open house in San Diego. Yes, I got 2 Sophronitis cernua from 2 different vendors and it was too late when I realize they are the same. I just want to smack myself.

Peter (mini-catts), so what followed you home?

That's o.k. trade it with a fellow forumite. I bet someone who's been wanting one steps forward.

If you can believe it, i took nothing from Andy's...I considered the Pleurothallis scheidei, but for whatever reason decided against it.

I did get some stuff at Fred Clarkes though. Did you go to Fred's?

Which one is Fred Clarkes? I got the cernua in cork bark inside where all the other chids are. I was kind of disappointed as I was expecting more than what they have altogether, specially driving 80+ miles one way.

It's too bad you missed Fred at Sunset Valley Orchids. He's in Vista about 12 miles north of Loren's place. He has 3 huge greenhouses filled with all sorts of orchids.
Next time ask me as i'm pretty "in" with all of the orchid places to visit and see!
    Peter.

Darn it, now I'm gonna cry, I did not know about this place, I could have stop by on the way back. I've only been into this orchid addiction for a few months so there's still a million things I need to learn including where to find all these greenhouses and local nurseries. I'll make sure I ask next time.
