I have 3 orchids with new spikes that have sprouted off the original spike. They are growing out horizontally. How do I support them? Afraid to bend them onto a typical hook support. Never done this before

I would not bother to support them any more than they already are.

Ok, thanks. Should I have cut the spike back before new ones started growing from it? They started growing rather quickly after the blooms on main spike fell off. I intended to repot them after blooming. Is this normal? Thank you for your advice. Karen

If the plant's healthy - good roots, leaves, etc., let them go and enjoy the flowers. Phalaenopsis often do this.
