Stanhopea wardii

    My pareidolia makes me see the mouth of whales in the lips of these orchids. On the other hand the lip can look like a bull or a mammoth depending on the angle that you are looking.

    The fragrance, at least on this plant was nice, I don't know how to characterize it, but not strong, that surprised me. The plant is in process of producing another inflorescence.
