    I was given this large plant of Stanhopea recently with a name I doubt.
    Can anyone name it, species or hybrid, please.

    its cute, I like it, what does it smell like. I always keep a few as pets....

    Rudolf Jenny explained to me that Stanhopea can't be accurately identified by colour. Beyond this I don't know!

    Problem solved, name.. Stan. Memoria Paul Allen = ecornuta x tigrina.
