24" HO T5 twin-lamp AquaticLife fixture. Plus a couple extra bulbs. $50 + $15 shipping. I don't have a box for it, so I'd need to go buy one.

20A Peltier cooler. This thing is burly. It would give me a temp delta of 20f on an uninsulated 56g glass tank. I rigged it to a programmable thermostat with a remote probe. Without a fan blowing on the heat exchange, it would completely ice over in 15 minutes. It's hardcore. Paid $200 for the cooler and $140 for the 20A converter. I'll sell both for $250. It's perfect for anyone who wants to make a cool growing area but lives in the warmer climates.

Hmm that's tempting Jon. Makes me want to ditch the fridge experiment and start over.

    I highly suggest it. :D

The Peltier will outlast any compression based system. PM me your email address, and I'll send you some photos.

I find it rather tempting as well, but I generally don't know what the hell I'm doing with electrical things haha.

It's wired and ready to be plugged in. No electrical knowhow required!

Jon's peltier cooler is a beast. It's perfect if you want a plug and play terrarium for I/C species.
