This is the Cool House at Singapore Botanic Gardens. Do pay it a visit when you are in Singapore. I go every time I am in the city as there is always something new in bloom. Its a great place to see cool growing species and intermediates in a simulated environment. More close up pics of the species plants in bloom in the Species section of the forum

Thanks Brett. A friend was just there and he raves about the place. Plus the fact that they let you walk around for hours without bugging you.

Its the great thing about the Singapore Botanic Garden. It only costs a few dollars to get in, and you can be there all day.. I spend hours in the cool house as there are hundreds of plants in there and you can spend that time spotting all the plants in bud or bloom.

The Gardens by the Bay is a bit more expensive.. I dont recall exactly how much, but I think about $20 or so to go into both greenhouses. I have not posted the regular one here as its not so much orchid related, but I guess if everyone is keen I can post it. And again, you can be there all day if you so desire.. There is no time limit, but you can only enter each greenhouse one time and once you exit you cant go back in. So make the most of it when you are in there for sure.
