In September 2005, a friend gifted me a small piece of bulbophyllum miniatum. It had perhaps 5 bulbs. I stuck it in a 4" plastic pot with some sphag and threw it in the basement. Until about a month ago, it just kind of grew. It now has about 20 bulbs. I recently inquired about culture because it hadn't ever bloomed. I was told "bright light, I-IW temps". So I stuck it up high in the GH next to a dendrophylax funalis (blooming) and a catt labiata (growing well). I just grabbed the pot and found that it has at least 13 new leads. Some of those very well could be spikes. Either way, this is proof that proper culture can make an immense difference in orchid cultivation.

    Just thought I'd share that.

    Thanks friend!

If you don't give OI $100 by sunset, the hammer shall kiss you with a vengeance on the forehead, Chris.

I agree. A before and after would help.
