Yep. I forget what the dilution is but you can buy bags of the crystals to mix up. The brand name is 'Coqui Croaker' I think. I spray 'em when I see 'em or wherever I hear them.

Yeah. But I like the geckos. What's your point? Pratically everything is introduced. They are volcanic island in the middle of the Pacific after all..

I wasn't trying to make a point. It seems to me that one introduced exotic flourishing at the other expense of another introduced exotic is justifiable in the grand scheme of things.

Call me crazy, but I love the little guys. I just recently returned from PR and found their song to be a lulliby.

    Excellent point Dale

good point Dale, and such is life on this rock, i see it at the expense of the wrong one.

Aren't Coquis basically the same thing as Peepers here in the North East? I don't have an opinion either way on Coquis but I do love the Peepers. I know that when I hear them, summer is just around the corner!!!

Duke, there's a big difference. The coquis in PR start at sundown and do not stop until daylight every day of the year. Your peepers are spring time frogs.

AND in Hawaii their density per acre is absurd! There are thousand of them on our 1/3 acre and it is cleared of brush. In the forest their population is even more dense.

You can send me a whole bunch of them. I'll pay shipping. I love the little buggers and Dale is right. They have rights too ya know. Great photo and find. Yeah, bullfrogs are certainly better than possums and armadillos MJ. You got me there. *snicker*

Posey, you are not so bright. To import a foreign species into your area ranks up there with the stupidest ideas I have ever heard. After you bring these little suckers in you'll be cursing your self for life, and your neighbors will kill you if they find out you brought the bastards from hell into the neighborhood.

Yeah well dumbass, why do you always do this stoopid picky nasty crap? :bang: FYI, they have already been introduced and are established in Louisiana and I just wanted some of my own. They also don't seem to spread much here. You could google it if you were the type that liked to learn things but nevermind. :p
