Anyone have this publication? I ask because I'm interested in seeing what masdevallia monoloi looks like. Apparently it is one of the plates.

As a secondary question, does anyone here grow and/or flower masdevallia monoloi? I don't really feel it's prudent to kill my plant, so I'd like to figure out how not to do that.

    Thanks.

I have fascicle 26, Jon. I'll photograph the plate tomorrow. The plant was discovered @ 2500m in central Peru.

    I'm envious. It's spectacular.

I'm growing it in a small net pot inside a plastic pot in a 50-50 mix of fine tree fern and pumice. It looks fine. I have another plant somewhere (unless it has gone deciduous) that has had some ups and downs, but don't remember what it is/was growing in. If you grow M lucernula well, put it right next to that.

    Thanks Dale.

Thanks for the info, Marni. Mine is tossing out a couple of new growths now that I have it under HPS, but I'm still concerned that it isn't growing as well as it should.

Isn´t it spelled manoloi? Or have I missed something new?

That's exactly how it's spelled. Thanks masdevallia. No wonder I couldn't find any information on it. :)

    I thought so. ;)
I grow mine in my cool growingcase but it doesn´t do that well. It has just flowered once.
