I'm pretty new to cold/cool growing orchids, but this one seems to be doing pretty well. It is still a small plant, which I got it from Ecuagenera last spring, but it decided to send up a shoot. I have wanted to see this flower for a long time! I'm growing it next to Telipogon, but I have another T. parviflorus (from Peru, but IOSPE says that it is synonymous to T. antennifer) which is growing OK at warmer temp (67/52F in the winter, 75/65F in the summer).

The red tip is cool. It seems to be similar to the pollinia hook of Telipogon, but it is not really a hook in this species.

When I compare it to IOSPE photo, I do notice some differences. IOSPE photo shows no hair around the region just above the column/stigma. But mine is hairy. Different species? But Piotr's and Thomas's (here and here) have hairs in that region.
