Trichopilia Charlotte x ramonensis

    This is going to be a great year from this trichopilia. There are two more spikes coming with 2 flowers on each. This year it was outside for the summer under a bit more shade. Overall it reacted well.

    Lovely! And well-bloomed! Are you sure this isn't Charles x crispa (Syn.ramonensis)? If so, it woud now be Trichopilia Renee. Also, what mix are you growing it in and how wet/dry do you keep it?

    Tennis, you are right! Thats what happens when you post without looking at the tag. Thank you!

    This is growing in Rockwood cubes and perlite. It has been in there for over a year and appears happy. I will let you know more when it is time to repot, and I check the roots. Several of my phrags growing in Rockwood cubes looked great up top but the root were shot. It probably has something to do with my water and nutrient mix.

    Anyhow these is grown consistently moist bordering on wet in the summer. Then moist for the winter.
