Trichopilia Charlotte

    Trpla.tortilis x galeottiana, with 5"-6" yellow flowers, one of the best hybrids in the genus. Full pic from plant prior to dividing a couple years ago. Grown cooler, in lower light, kept moist.

    You still have the Trichopilia 'green thumb'. The flower presentation is great.Beautiful lip and color. You can see the influence from galeottiana. The twist in the sepals and petals from tortilis really help to highlight that huge lip. You don't see these plants and flowers enough. Thanks for keeping this genus alive and in cultivation.

    If only he could bottle that Trichopilia 'green thump' and share it. Fantastic trichopilia. Love the color and the spotting on the lip.
