Trisetella andreetae comes from southern Ecuador, Morona-Santiago province, and grows there, in the rain forests, at 1600m altitude. So far, it is found only there and is problably endemic to the area. It is named after Padre Andreetta who found the species , along with some friends. I have had the plant since the middle of last year and cultivate it intermediate (15°/16°C to 23°/24°C, in the summer al bit higher).
