Tropical Siberia

    I replanted my carnivorous plant from rephrigerator in my orchyterrarium. They dormancy finished.
    My hybrid brassioleliocattleya become blooming. It's very pretty.

    Striking BLC photo. I like that. It certainly illustrates the anticipation all of us experience when eagerly awaiting bloom from a new plant.

    OK, let's back up t the bark comment and response. Sorry friends, bark breaks down over time. When that happens, it can eventually start killng the roots. When the roots go, the only way for the plant to absorb neutrirnts is through the leaves which some do better than others.

    All in all it's a pretty nice set up but I suspect those lights put off one heck of a lot of heat. My suggestion is to consider some form of light wieght expanded clay aggrigate to replace the bark when it begins to break down.

    i love the number of different plants you have. GREAT JOB
