UC Davis Botanical Conservatory

    Hey all,

    An unusual request, but if anyone lives in Central or Northern area of California and would be happy enough to donate an orchid or such to the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory. I just started to be the caretaker and thought it would be cool to get the collection a bit bigger. We even have a cool growing area with two species of Dracula. The main star and biggest is our Bulbo. phalaenopsis. We also have one Dendrophylax fawcettii. I would even love to get a few more Bulbos to show off to the public and other students.

    I'm not sure. Perhaps? If you have a connection to Davis, maybe so. If it's through the Sacramento Orchid Society, then no. Their meetings don't align with my schedule to attend.

    Did you get hired as the replacement for Ernesto this year or as a student?
