Vanda coerulescens

    Hello everyone. Pictures of two plants labeled coerulescens. I grow them cool and “dryish” in the winter and they gets lots of water during the active growing season...now.

    The first is a seedling from Motes Orchids and has the typical grape bubblegum fragrance that fills the greenhouse. It boomed in the February-March timeframe.

    The second one is from China. It blooms later (now), is more sensitive to winter moisture (like to be quite dry) and has absolutely no fragrance at all.
