Guys I am new to caring for Vandas. I have 3 new ones which are of blooming size. Any advice on propagation by cuttings?

My experience with top-cutting on Vanda is limited to one but I have used that same technique several times with Trichoglottis brachiata which is very Vanda-like. Basically, when the plant is tall enough that you have a bunch of roots along the stem just cut the top out. The top cutting should have at least 2 healthy roots when removed. Treat the top cutting just like the mother plant. The lower portion (original plant) should have several good healthy roots and plenty of leaves remaining and it should put out at least 1 new branch. If your plants are still young (barely blooming size) you may not have the root mass or numbers to try this.
