I was wondering if anyone here has and personal or 2nd hand experienceabout growing this species in warm conditions. I grow it because it will do well in cool conditions, but I have a customer interested in a flask who he lives in Texas and has warm conditions. Thanks.

I never got a response to this and continue to grow mine in the cool house.

According to Charles Baker, it typically sees low- to mid-70's in the daytime, and low 50's at night, but might be stretched over a range of 45-83F

Everyone has their own idea of what are the limits of a temperature range. But that is a pretty standard definition of cool.

I agree. It's the nighttime lows that determine the range description, and upper-40's to low-50's says "cool" to me.
