I don't want any more Vanda type plants BUT if one of these became available I'd be on it in a flash. This is an excellent flowering Marni.

Thanks, Roy. I have a cross in flask between my two clones. You never know where they will show up.

Happily, no. It probably bloomed for the first time the 2nd year I had it.

Yes, they are both in Section roeblingiana. There is a new species I just saw last month at a meeting. I have forgotten the name just now, but it is closer to javierii than roeblingiana. They came in a shipment as V javieri, but were not that.

Such beauty makes my heart ache, since they would not grow where I live. I wonder if pricelists with these species are lurking hideously along my bookshelves ready to pounce on my wallet at the least sign of weakness.

I'm sure they are there. You need to exercise constant vigilance.

It might make something else ache too! I believe it's this species that has been found to have similar effects on males as the popular drug Viagra!

Viagra you say? The only effect I recall is seeing everything with a blueish color. Hmmm... Perhaps I have overshared.

Can I use that in my sales pitch for flasks? On second thought, I don't think so.

Hahaha! Could be very effective for a specific demographic!
