Vandopsis lissochiloides

    I saw this plant at an orchid show at a local show. It is a giant. The plant was so tall that it was not in the exhibition but rather in the space behind it. The inflorescence was amazing and surprisingly tall, at least six feet, I could not tell the exact size because most of the plant was hidden from sight.

    The one at the Montreal Botanic Garden regularly hits the roof of the glasshouse it's in.

    Glad to see that someone's got the space to grow this, cause I certainly don't!

    I would grow it, if I even found someone selling seedlings. It would surely do good where I live. I have Vandachnis Coronation and it grows like a veritable weed.
