    It has both, I have never used the DI part, it discharges from a different spot. I am not sure if it still travels through the RO membrane or not. I guess I could look at the tubing and see if the membranes are connected.

    oh come on. I put the hose on the goesinta, and the put the goesouta in my tank with a float. It filled up with water. No manual necessary.
